    • This course introduces the principles and techniques of hydraulic fracturing for oil and gas extraction. Students learn about fracture design, well operations, fracturing fluids, and reservoir analysis, while exploring environmental, safety, and regulatory considerations. Practical case studies develop skills in planning and monitoring fracturing operations.

      What Will You Learn?
      • In this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals and practical aspects of hydraulic fracturing—from formation evaluation and fracture design to fluid selection, proppant transport, and field execution. You’ll understand how geomechanics, stress analysis, and fracture modeling influence well performance, and gain insight into modern diagnostics, environmentally responsible practices, and emerging technologies such as waterless fracturing and AI-assisted design.
